What a Week! Caravan Radio Wraps Up at the Motorhome & Caravan Show

After six packed days at the NEC, the Motorhome & Caravan Show 2026 comes to a close today — and what a week it has been for Caravan Radio.

This year’s show has been huge, covering 21 acres of the NEC, with more than 350 exhibitors and over 1,000 caravans, motorhomes and campervans on display.

And right in the middle of it all, Caravan Radio has been broadcasting, recording, interviewing and welcoming visitors to Stand 9.99 throughout the week.

Six days of Caravan Radio at the NEC

What started just over a week ago as a collection of boxes, cables, microphones, banners and furniture was transformed into our NEC home for the week — complete with an outside broadcast studio and a seating area where visitors could take the weight off, enjoy a drink or picnic, browse their show brochures and listen to Caravan Radio.

Most importantly, it gave us the chance to meet so many of our listeners face-to-face.

We have loved hearing from people who already listen at home, in their caravans and motorhomes, and introducing new listeners to the Caravan Radio app.

Familiar faces and plenty of conversations

It has been a busy week for interviews too.

We have welcomed familiar faces including Dan Trudgian, The Roaming Radfords and Fliss the Trailer Lady, while presenter and author Martin Dorey joined us at the show and met visitors for a book signing.

We also hosted The Motorhome Matt Podcast, with Matt simultaneously recording his podcast and content for Caravan Radio from our stand.

Across the halls, we have been finding out what businesses have brought to this year’s show and what is new for the caravan and motorhome community.

Among those joining us were Kelly from VIN CHIP, Catherine Bunn from Highland Campervans, Sophie from Brompton Bikes, Anna from Paw Daw, and Fliss and Andy from The Trailer Lady, with many more interviews and conversations recorded throughout the week.

Bringing the show to listeners at home

Of course, not everyone could make it to Birmingham.

Throughout the show we have been bringing the NEC to Caravan Radio listeners with interviews, updates and highlights during the day, along with our 5pm show round-ups.

That means whether you were walking the NEC halls or listening from your sofa, caravan or motorhome, you could still be part of the week.

Thank you!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to Stand 9.99 to say hello, sat down for a chat, downloaded the app, recorded something with us or simply stopped to listen.

Thank you too to all the presenters, contributors, YouTubers, businesses and industry experts who gave up their time to join us on air.

And finally, thank you to everyone who listened from home.

The show may be finishing today, but Caravan Radio certainly isn’t.

We broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week, bringing you great music, competitions, industry news, expert advice, touring inspiration and familiar voices from across the caravan and motorhome community.
