Caravan Radio presenter Ray Atkinson is getting on his bike throughout August to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK – and everyone who supports him will have the chance to win a vintage vinyl record.
Regular weekend listeners will know that Ray took a break from his show earlier this summer while he underwent treatment for prostate cancer.
Now that stage of his treatment is complete, he’s taking on a month-long cycling challenge to raise vital funds and awareness for a disease that affects thousands of families every year.
Support Ray and you could win!
Thanks to Caravan Radio, Ray’s show sponsor Highland Campervans, and his local record shop Vinyl 2 Vintage, everyone who donates will automatically be entered into a weekly prize draw.
Each week, one lucky supporter will win a vintage vinyl copy of Ray’s Album of the Weekend.
Ray said:
“Sadly, one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime, and it is the UK’s third biggest cancer killer. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
“I’m raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support men and their families affected by the disease. Please help me by making a donation, no matter how small.”
How to enter
Simply visit Ray’s JustGiving page and make a donation:
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Prostate Cancer UK fund lifesaving research and provide support for men and their families.
You’ll also be entered into the weekly draw to win that weekend’s featured Album of the Weekend on vintage vinyl.
Follow Ray’s progress throughout August, keep up with his cycling challenge and see the weekly winners in the Caravan Radio Listeners Club on Facebook.
